About The Training

This in person course provides training for people who wish to achieve reliability with others using the measure. It is also a necessary step for anyone wishing to use the ADOS in research.

This advanced level workshop involves intensive instruction and involves working in a small group on administering and scoring the ADOS, active discussion, and question/answer about specific administration and coding issues. Participants will receive coaching of their own administration as well as considerable practice with scoring. Following the course, participants may wish to pursue “research reliability.” To do this, they will need to further demonstrate understanding of correct administration and coding. This is achieved through (1) scoring of additional videos that will be provided and (2) each trainee will submit (at least) two post-course video recordings of themself administering different ADOS modules and respective scored protocols within six months of training.

Individuals wishing to attend this course must have first completed an interactive ADOS clinical course. Both in-person and virtual formats of clinical training are acceptable. Individuals who have completed only the WPS training set will need to complete an interactive course.
