- Develop and test effective clinical and educational approaches for supporting autistic people of all ages and their families;
- Advocate for state, local, and university policies to make autism services more accessible and neurotypical-dominated environments more inclusive and accommodating;
- Share information and resources with families, service providers, and other stakeholders, particularly in the local area and state of Maryland;
- Highlight and promote the voices of autistic people within UMARC and more broadly;
- Develop our priorities in conversation with autistic people and other stakeholders;
- Increase the representation of autistic people in autism research at UMD, by recruiting and collaborating with autistic students and faculty.
